DO YOUR DUTY WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATIONS:
Many people say that this verse is only for people with high level of maturity and not for normal human beings.
People with inferiority complex and unsatisfied need to be strong and self motivated. For that they have to realise some truths.
Failures are temporary. During such hardship one must be brave and strong to overcome the situation.
Comparing with others makes one feel disappointed. We should take good examples from one and should not compare ourselves. Then it will result in lifelong lamenting.In Bagavath Geetha Dont expect means that your expectant result will not arrive. It means that doing our duty alone is in our hands. But the expected results is based on several factors. Just by doing our duty our expectations will get fulfilled automatically. Some of our expectations may get fulfilled more than what we expected.
When our work is based on our desire then there will be defects in the duty that we perform.
Henceforth to achieve some thing some sacrifices are required. But today's world changes the entire meaning of this beautiful line taking it in a wrong way.
கடமையைச் செய்; பலனை எதிர்பார்க்காதே”
இந்த வேதாந்தமெல்லாம் பக்குவபட்ட மனிதர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே பொருந்தும் சராசரி மனிதர்களுக்கு பொருந்தாது என்பது பலரின் கருத்து.
தாழ்வான எண்ணமுள்ளவர்கள், ஏங்குபவர்கள், திருப்தியில்லாதவர்கள் எல்லோருமே தம்மைத் தாமே ஊக்குவிக்க கற்றுக்கொள்வது அவசியம். அதற்கு சில உண்மைகளை உணரவேண்டும்.
தோல்விகள் என்பது தற்காலிகமானதே. அச்சமயத்தில் உற்சாகமுடன் செயல்பட்டு அதிலிருந்து வெளியே வந்துவிட, மனதை உறுதிப்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
பிறரைப் பார்த்து ஒப்பிடுதல் பலரை மனமுடையச் செய்கிறது. பிறரைப் பார்த்து சில முன்னேற்ற வழிமுறைகள் அறியவேண்டுமே தவிர அவர்களைப் போல இல்லையே என ஏங்கினால், அதற்கு ஒரு எல்லையே இல்லாமற் போகும்.
கீதையில் ‘பலனை எதிர்பார்க்காதே’ என்று சொல்வது பலன் வராது என்ற பொருளில் அல்ல. கடமையைச் செய்வது நம் கையில் இருக்கிறது. பலன் என்பது பல்வேறு அம்சங்களால் கிடைப்பது. நம் கையில் இல்லாதது. எதை எதைச் செய்ய வேண்டுமோ அதையதைச் செய்து விட்டால் நல்ல பலன்கள் தாமாக வந்து சேரும். சில பலன்கள் உடனுக்குடன் கிடைக்கும். சில பலன்கள் சில காலம் கழித்து கிடைக்கும். சில பலன்கள் நாம் எதிர் பார்த்தவைகளுக்கு மேலாக நம்மையறியாமலேயே நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும். அதனால்தான் பலனை எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிராமல் செயல்பட வேண்டியது அவசியமாகிறது.
அதுமட்டுமில்லாமல் பலனில் குறிவைத்துச் செயல்படும்போது கடமையைச் செய்வதில் குறை வரத்தான் செய்யும். அதனால் நல்ல பலன்கள் தவறிப்போகும்.
ஆகவே, சராசரி மனிதனின் இயல்பு தவறல்ல! ஆனால், முன்னேற வேண்டுமானால் ஒரு சில தியாகங்களை செய்தாகத்தான் வேண்டும். தியாகம் என்றால், சில விருப்பங்களை விலக்குதல், சில எதிர்பார்ப்புகளைக் குறைத்தல், சில ஏமாற்றங்களைத் தாங்கிக்கொள்ளுதல், சில ஆசைகளை ஒதுக்குதல் போன்றவைகளும் தான்.
வேலை செய் சம்பளத்தை எதிர் பார்க்காதே என்பதை போல் இதன் அர்த்தத்தையே இன்றைய மனிதர்கள் மாற்றி விட்டார்கள்.
மேற்க்கு உலகில் (Business management) சொல்லும் நூலாக பகவத் கீதையை ,மதிக்கிறார்கள்.
